As part of the elective course “Food security and agriculture”, we contribute a half-day interactive class “Crops and farming systems around the world”. In the class we provide an overview of crops and farming systems in different regions of the world today. We discuss key aspects of sustainability in agricultural production systems, including approaches for sustainable crop intensification.
